Job Summary: We are looking for an IT Intern who is willing to learn and grow their career for technology. The Intern will support the maintenance of the company’s IT environment and network resources, support software and website development and maintenance, support graphics designing, improve the efficiency of IT resource use, implement and monitor the company’s ICT standards, promote user/client awareness and train them in the use of ICT resources. The applicant must know how to install computer systems and organize IT resources, they should also be able to resolve network issues and malfunctions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Support the process automation vision of the company; recommend or develop applications and systems that will help optimize user satisfaction.
• Support the installation, configuration and customization of IT systems ensuring compliance, guidelines and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date technical systems documentation for developed IT solutions to support systems maintenance.
• Resolve users queries independently, escalating if required, to ensure that standard IT questions are answered, and accurate information is provided.
• Support the data back-up system; Network access Storage (NAS) & remote synchronizing of data; identify and eliminate bottlenecks to ensure long-term network efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of materials and the delivery of trainings on systems and automated business processes to ensure efficient and effective use of IT systems.
• Collect and collate data, conduct basic analysis to support the development of accurate reports.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The applicant must be a fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related fields.
• Experience in computer maintenance, computer networks, and software development is a must.
• Some experience working with corporate computer systems and troubleshooting.
• Experience in graphics and website designing and development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines while delivering high quality work.
• Solution oriented with a high sense of attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Ability to use quality tools such as bench-marking, brainstorming, gap analysis and process mapping for fact-based decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
